Having Enough Is Luxurious

Things we take for granted on a daily basis many would consider luxuries.

We may not think of food, water, shelter, clothing, and transportation as luxuries, but many don’t have these things.

If our basic needs are met, we’re blessed and fortunate.

Be content with what we have. Be grateful for the luxurious life we live.

We’re living a life of luxury and don’t even realize it because we’re so focused on the wrong things.

Having enough is luxurious.

Stay Patient, Stay Positive, Stay Persistent

If you’re not seeing results immediately, keep going. Keep your head up. Keep pushing forward.

Stay positive. Stay encouraged. Stay disciplined. Stay motivated. Stay consistent.

Results take time. It takes time to achieve our goals.

Remember, if it was easy, everybody would do it.

Staying the Same Is Scary

If we’re not growing, we’re dying.

We don’t just wake up and change overnight.

Change is a process. It takes time.

We can intentionally change, or it can happen naturally.

It’s only after we look back that we can see the gradual transition and transformation.

Change is a part of life. It’s natural. Accept it. Embrace it. Move forward.

Adapt to new circumstances. Evolve as we gain knowledge and experience. Use the wisdom we’ve learned to be a better person.

Don’t be afraid to outgrow your past. Change is not scary. Staying the same is.

Lessons Learned

In the middle of March when I was told I couldn’t go to gyms, cafes, and restaurants, I lost it.

I was frustrated, annoyed, angry, and depressed.

Two and a half months later, I don’t care if I ever step foot in a gym, cafe, and restaurant again.

I’m not saying I won’t. I will. I still enjoy the experience and social aspect.

But I learned I don’t need it. I learned not to rely on it. That’s empowering.

I can workout in my apartment and outside with minimal equipment. I can make my own coffee and food.

It doesn’t take long to change our behaviors, form new habits, and create new patterns.

In this case, I was forced to adapt. I had no choice.

Sometimes certain events can be a blessing in disguise.

This proves we can change. We can do it willingly on our own terms with whatever we choose.

Don’t rely on others and put your happiness in the hands of others. We need less than we think to survive. We can be content and happy with less.

Anything can be taken away from us at any given moment. Remember that.

‪Love Yourself

We can be self-confident while having insecurities.

Self-confidence is not about being perfect. We all have flaws, weaknesses, and insecurities.

Self-confidence is accepting ourselves the way we are. Self-confidence is embracing our flaws, weaknesses, and insecurities and loving ourselves anyway.

We don’t have to be the best to be the best.

The best coach may not have been the best player.

The best personal trainer may not be the strongest and fittest.

The best writer may not sell the most books.

The best teacher may not have been the best student.

We don’t need to be the best to succeed.

We do need a burning fire inside. We do need heart and desire. We do need to want it. And we must be willing to work for it.

Fuel the Fire

Use the naysayers and doubters as fuel and motivation.

Prove them wrong. Show them you can.

Life is Like the Summer Solstice

I love summer. I look forward to it every year.

The summer solstice is a bittersweet day.

It’s the longest day of the year, but every day thereafter is shorter.

I like having something to look forward to. It gives me something pleasant to think about. The anticipation is exciting.

Similarly, I enjoy the climb in life. I love challenges and love playing the game.

We work so hard for so long for some things in life. Then once we accomplish or achieve them, the high wears off and the ecstatic feeling is short-lived.

We rush to the destination, but what we fail to realize is the climb is more rewarding.

Rather than living for one moment in time in the future, enjoy the adventurous journey.

And if you do happen to make it to the top, enjoy the view and share it with others.

Work Outside of Work

There’s a lot of work to do outside of work.

Our lives require work. We require work. Our health and relationships require work.

There’s a lot of work to do in this world. A lot of people need help and support. We have a lot of issues and problems to deal with. A lot of things need to change.

Work is a part of life, but there are a lot of other meaningful things to do outside of work. There are things that we need to address and things that deserve our attention.

Don’t push important things to the back burner. Don’t put off important things any longer. We need to work to make a difference, drive change, and make an impact.

Do Good, Be Good

Do good for others and good will come back to us.

Why do we suppress others?

Why don’t we help others?

Are we threatened?

Do we want power?

Do we want control?

Do we want money?

The world is abundant. There’s plenty to go around.

Life isn’t a competition. We’re all just trying to survive and trying to make the best and most our time and lives.

Help others.

Be empathetic and compassionate.

Don’t forget, what goes around comes around.

One day we may need a helping hand.
