Life is like a marathon.
It can feel long, overwhelming, and never-ending.
At some point, we all have thoughts of quitting.
Quitting may temporarily make us feel better.
But quitting is not the remedy.
The only thing that truly will make us feel better is progressing to the finish line.
Don’t think about how far we have left to go.
Focus on being in the mile we’re in.
Put one foot in front of the other.
Take one step at a time.
Get to the next mile marker.
Get to the halfway point.
Get to the next aid station.
Every milestone is relief, life, and a jolt of energy.
Do whatever it takes to continue.
Remember, quitting is not the remedy.
Progressing toward the finish line is.
