Self-importance.

I think, feel, and believe what I’m doing is important, but it may only be important to me.

We like feeling important.

We like thinking what we do is important.

But life would go on without.

The world would be just fine without.

But it gives my life meaning.

It gives my life purpose.

It gives my life direction.

It gives me something to focus on, do, and work on.

It gives me hope.

It gives me life.

It gives me something to think about, get up for, look forward to, and live for.

So I may not be important and what I do may not be important to anybody.

But it’s important to me.

And that’s why I do it.

Nobody may care.

But I care.

And that’s a good reason to do it.
