People are energy.
People are life.
Whether I’m running alone in training or running alone in a race, it can get lonely.
Sometimes it’s just me with no signs of life.
The mood can get low.
But then out of nowhere you see a human.
You see a sign of life.
You are not alone.
That’s a jolt.
It’s a spark.
It’s instant energy.
If that person cheers for you and encourages you, that is even more energy.
We feed off of people.
People are a pick-me-up.
Don’t underestimate your ability to make a difference in somebody’s life.
Something as small and simple as a smile, clapping, a thumbs up, a compliment, or some nice, positive words can and do make a difference.
Your energy and attitude can help people and motivate people.
You can give people energy and confidence.
You can make a difference.
So the next time you see somebody struggling, charge them up.
Remember, you are energy.
