I was a certified math teacher.

I’m a certified public accountant.

I was Series 7 licensed.

I’m a certified personal trainer.

I’m a certified group fitness instructor.

I’m a certified run coach.

I’m currently studying to take the strength and conditioning coach exam.

I’m going to study for and take the CFP exam again.

Out of all of these exams, I failed one of four parts of the CPA exam and the CFP exam.

I went on to pass the test I failed of the CPA exam.

I never took the CFP exam again.

I want revenge on that one.

We can learn a lot about ourselves by reflecting and observing our actions.

What does this say about me?

I like studying and taking tests?

I’m good at taking tests?

I have too much time on my hands?

I’m scattered and all over the place?

I’m not committed and don’t stick with anything?

I see a common theme.

That theme is public service.

Whether it’s teaching, advising, training, instructing, or coaching, I like helping others and serving others.

I like sharing knowledge and information.

I like helping others get their lives on track.

I also see that I’m curious, like learning, and value education.

I like exploring and challenging myself.

I’m driven, motivated, and work hard.

Some may look at me and say I don’t know what I want.

Some may look at it and say this is a weakness.

I understand that.

I look at it and call it a strength.

We can never know enough.

We can never have too many experiences.

I know what I bring to the table.

I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience.

I bring a unique perspective.

One day all of it is going to come together.

When it does, it’s going to be special and make complete sense.
