How much time do you need to recover?

How much time do you need between hard workouts?

I was running hard on Tuesday and Thursday and long (and sometimes hard) on Saturday.

I was only giving myself one day in between hard runs.

I learned that wasn’t enough time for me to recover.

I’ve now built two days in between hard workouts and long runs.

I consider the day after a workout or long run a recovery day and the following day an easy day.

That way I’m recovered and ready to go.
