“I’m not here to be comfortable. I’m here to work. I’m here to hurt.”
That’s what I said to myself this morning during my running workout.
I started out focused but started lollygagging.
I was working but not the way I should’ve been working.
If we’re comfortable, we’re not challenging ourselves.
If we want to get better, we have to feel some discomfort.
Work for it. Hurt for it.
*The workout was 5 x 1 mile at 5:15-5:20 with 2:00 recovery between each rep.
