Goal time: 2:30
Actual time: 2:37:08
I stretched myself. I pushed myself.
Based on the times it appears I came up short.
If you look solely at the times, I did.
But I’m not so sure I did.
I ran a personal best in the Boston Marathon.
I ran my 6th and fastest marathon ever at the Boston Marathon – a hilly, tough, challenging course.
There’s nothing to be ashamed of and embarrassed about when you go for it and give it your all.
Overall I’m happy.
I ran a personal best.
I’m making progress in the right direction.
I’ve yet to run my best marathon. I’ve yet to run my best time. That’s encouraging.
