I love running, but I don’t want to run all day.
I love writing, but I don’t want to write all day.
I love reading, but I don’t want to read all day.
And these are a few of my favorites things to do.
No matter how much I like doing something I don’t want to spend all of my time doing it.
I work best when I do a variety of things.
I work best when I work in chunks.
For example, I can workout, write, and read each for a couple hours a day.
During that period, I am fully present, focused, and engaged.
I am on.
I work hard and deep.
Those two hours are productive.
Doing the same thing all day every day is not who I am.
