Running has taught me the importance of mental preparation.

I know going into a hard workout that it’s going to be hard.

Mentally preparing for it ahead of time makes it more doable and tolerable.

It takes some of the shock away.

When something is hard we must be more focused and engaged and give it more attention and effort.

Look ahead. Mentally prepare yourself for what’s to come. Show up ready.

Sometimes the hard workouts I mentally prepare for end up being easier than the easy workouts I don’t mentally prepare for.
