I believe one of the greatest disservices to society is acting like your life is perfect and acting like you’re happy all the time.

That’s sending the wrong message.

We all get down. We all get sad. We all get depressed.

Why do we feel the need to hide our feelings and act like nothing is wrong?

Why do we feel the need to portray strength and act like we’re ok all of the time?

That’s setting others up for failure.

It’s ok to get down and be sad. It’s ok to be vulnerable and weak.

We are human.

Highs and lows are normal.

Being human is not always rainbows and sunshine.

If you act like it is, you’re depicting a fantasy and are hurting others in the process.
