Last night Meg and I were in the hospital.

A young woman – probably our age – walked in.

She went to the front desk.

We overheard her say something like this:

“I applied for a job here. Is there somebody I can speak with about it?”

She got as much information as she could and then proceeded to walk out.

I followed her outside.

I thanked her for her hustle and grind.

I said thank you for having the guts and courage to do what you just did. I said not many people would do this.

Be brave.

If you want something, go get it.

It’s up to you to make it happen.

Express your interest. Show your hunger and drive. Want it.

Also, positively reinforce others every time you have a chance.
