We let fear hold us back from reaching our true potential.

Here’s an example:

Yesterday morning I went to a track to do speedwork.

I’ve avoided speedwork for years for two primary reasons.

  1. It’s hard, and it hurts.
  2. I was afraid of getting injured.

I didn’t go to the track for years because I was afraid of the pain and getting hurt.

I lived in fear. I was scared.

How do I become a better runner? I go to the track.

We conquer our fears by facing our fears. We overcome our fears by attacking our fears.

What are your fears? What are you afraid of? What’s holding you back?

Do what scares you. That is the way.

I am not afraid anymore.

Say it with me.

I am not afraid anymore.
