When a dog is overweight and it needs to lose weight, what do we do?
We feed the dog less. We control its portions.
The same applies to humans.
If we want to lose weight, we must eat less.
Being hungry sucks. It’s frustrating. It’s depressing. We feel weak and tired. Hangry is a thing. I know the feeling.
But it works.
I gained weight while marathon training. I know firsthand we can’t outrun and outtrain a bad diet. I’ve tried it.
The food we eat matters. So does the amount of food we eat.
If we’re looking to lose weight, we must watch our portions. Ration our food.
We don’t put a dog on the treadmill to lose weight. Why do we do that to ourselves?
