Sometimes we are so busy with our day-to-day lives that we forget to stop and smell the roses.

I’m guilty.

I’m busy chasing. I’m busy rushing around like a chicken with its head cut off. I’m in a hurry to get somewhere I’m not.

I’m so focused on the next thing. I’m so focused on what I want but don’t have.

I’ve slowed down the past few days. Rushing won’t get me anywhere.

I’m still working and making progress, but I can be productive and make progress without rushing, hurrying, and stressing.

Why do we put unnecessary pressure on ourselves?

It’s only been a few days, and I’m already feeling better. I’m already in a better place.

Take one day at a time. Focus on one thing at a time. Do one thing at a time. Do a little bit each and every day. Take our time. We’ll get there. It’ll happen.

Be more intentional. Be more efficient. Work smarter. Be more patient.

Chill. Don’t force it. Just keep working.
