So I’ve noticed this sprinkler system has been kicking on at the same time every night.

Last night while laying in bed, it got me thinking.

Be like a sprinkler system.

The sprinkler system I’m talking about is on a schedule. It has a routine. It’s consistent. It shows up every day. It turns on at the same time every day.

The sprinkler system is cultivating life and growth. Without it, grass, plants, and flowers would die.

Get on a schedule. Wake up at the same time every day. Go to sleep at the same time every day.

Establish a routine. Make time to move every day, think every day, write every day, and read every day. Make time to do what makes us feel better every single day. Make time to drink water every single day. Like the grass, plants, and flowers, we can’t survive without water. It’s keeps us lush.

Show up every day. Make healthy habits a part of our everyday life.

Practice them. Repeat them until they become second nature. Repeat them until we no longer even have to think about them, we just naturally do them.

Do them at the same time and same place every single day. Like clockwork.

Be like a sprinkler system. Be consistent. Show up for ourselves every single day. Our mind and body need nourished for growth. Cultivate ourselves.

As I noticed the sprinkler system, you will notice a change in yourself. Others will notice a change in you. When you commit to your health, taking care of yourself, and living better, the world will take notice.

On a side note, there is inspiration everywhere. You have to see it. You have to look for it. You have to listen for it. Pay attention. Open your eyes. Open your ears. A sprinkler inspired these thoughts.
