I got a haircut this morning.

The person cutting my hair was trying to hide my receding hairline.

I said no. I said cut it.

I am who I am. This is me. This is natural.

I have a receding hairline. I have wrinkles on my forehead. I have nothing to hide.

My receding hairline and wrinkles have nothing to do with who I am as a human.

I’ve been through a lot. These are my battle wounds. I’m proud of them. I wear them with pride.

They aren’t flaws. They are me.

We all are self-conscious. We all have insecurities.

Own them. Embrace them.

I’ve learned to be comfortable and confident with my receding hairline and wrinkles on my forehead.

We can learn to be comfortable and confident in our own skin and body.
