Life is like my running.
My first mile is usually the slowest.
It takes me time to wake up, get warmed up, and get moving.
Once moving, I settle into a rhythm and get into a groove.
Everything starts flowing.
Starting oftentimes is the hardest or worst.
Just start. Get our thoughts flowing and our body moving.
It will start to click.
If we keep going, we may even catch a run high.
Ease into it. Don’t expect to be at our best right out of the gate.
It’s ok to start slow. Just finish strong.
