Bounce Back Run

Solid bounce back run after a couple days off from running.

I’ve been pushing myself for a couple months straight. I’ve been running a lot of miles – averaging 50+ miles per week.

I listened to my body. I knew I needed to recharge my batteries and fully recover or I risked injury.

I felt better and fresher after a couple days off but probably could use another one or two rest days.

I’ve built a solid base and am building up for the Pittsburgh Marathon. I want to be healthy and strong so I can run my heart out.

I need to make resting a bigger part of my plan. Resting is critical to high performance. A day or two off every once in a while will do the body more good than harm.
