I can’t feel my face.
Running in the elements (the cold, snow, and rain) is like jumping in a pool.
The initial shock is the worst.
It’s not that bad once we do it.
When we immerse ourselves in the elements or water, we adjust. Our bodies our resilient. We can adapt and get comfortable with uncomfortable situations.
Sometimes we think too much. We let the fear of discomfort stop us and hold us back. We stall. We delay.
Mentally prepare ourselves. Make the decision. Then do it.
Go outside in the elements. Jump in the pool. Just do it already.
Putting it off only makes it worse. We suffer more in our imagination than in reality.
